The Shredder had a very interesting development cycle. While it original started as a heavy projectile launcher, we pivoted to a rapid fire dart shooter. This lead to the evolution of the darts which after many iterations were handed off to Ethan Evans for a fresh set of eyes.
The major difference and similarity between this and the Impaler is the front end of the weapon. The idea here is in the 'class' of weapons share major elements while feeling different and impactful from each other.
