Macross Fast Pack [Backpack Only] Test Flight

Took some time this Thanksgiving Break to finish up a Macross/Robotech Fan art.

Modeled and rendered in Blender's cycles with an EXR skybox image for some of the ambient lighting and a base which I painted on for the sky + some photo. I wanted to make something like the surreal surrealism of model kit box art and early painted promo images for the franchise . This was a fun exorcise in pushing something to finish based on a source material. I really like the Valkyries with their fast packs on, however this is basically only 50% of the fastpack gear, i just really like the backpacks only silhouette.
