Visual Development forest painting for The Holt, from DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods Part 1 campaign DLC. This is a painting exploring what the forest section of the Holt could look and feel like. Keying off the '3D printed' look in some of Urdak that Emerson Tung established. I wanted to bring that logic into the ground/rock formations as well. Additionally, carried that idea into the plant growth as well.
UPDATE: added some wall detail callouts for areas where you could have had some non-passible 'windows' made of the rock/material growth in the level.
