DOOM - Slayer Cryo Pod Containment Unit

Around 2015ish I had the opportunity to explore a different sort of introduction for the DOOM Slayer. In this take , the DOOM Slayer was in cryo stasis inside a sort of storage unit on an orbital station and or ship. The exterior design was based on the BFG containment pod designed by Jon Lane. This would have given them a shared design language implying they were meant for each other. (and the slayer was as powerful as the bfg.).

The designs here show what the interior view from the players perspective would be during atmospheric re entry and how the cryo chamber doors would open. The orbital station or ship would have been destroyed and the entire unit would have been ejected towards the martian surface.
