Photo Study - Evening Drive

Happy New Year, soonish!

In January of 2025 I was visiting family in Chesapeake Virginia and i got a few nice photos form the trip, including this nice evening drive. While not as complex as the last study I felt it was a nice calm view and would be fun to work on. Less complex clouds, more complex colors in the sky. I did modify the highway a bit such as have the struck and sign overlap, in my original photo they were almost perfectly on top of each other and made a glaring tangent. I also added a noise layer which I had experimented with in the other images but here it really helped make it feel like the source image. One last one to wrap up the year from the start of it!

I hope everyone had a good year this year and have exiting plans going forward. We'll see how this goes but as far was new years resolutions I hope to continue focusing on taking photos and doing studies that capture a certain view of the world and moments we've left behind.
