Created around 2011-2012 for Insomniac Games 2013 third person action co-op game FUSE; formally Overstrike.
These were created for a heavy flame thrower enemy type. The original design [Final Design Version 1] was more stylized and angular then how we wound up. Fun lesson here... I had designed the grips on the earlier version based on a concept and not the in game character model. It is important to the design informs and reflects existing assets and how they work together. The final design [Final Design Version 2] is more accurate to the grip used by the character asset to hold heavy weapons, as well as matches the final style for FUSE more accurately.
